Songs against Dark Times Like These is an ongoing song circle in unexpected places. It centers around the communal act of singing together. This initiative brings people together in group gatherings to share songs from their cultural backgrounds. In these gatherings, participants connect through the simple yet profound act of singing, providing a collective space for hope amidst the diverse challenges individuals may face in their personal lives, Finding a common ground that transcends personal differences. It’s a coming together. This exploration aims to create a shared space of hope, reminding us that, together, we can find solace and connection amidst the difficulties we face, even in dark times like these. we respond to Bertolt Brecht’s question: “In the dark times, will there also be singing?” with an enthusiastic yes.
